Our region is proud to be home to some of Colorado’s most Historic sites! Cripple Creek and Victor comprise the Mining and Gaming communities, Divide offers a growing planned community with its vibrant town center. Florissant, is home to the fascinating geologic wonders of the Fossil Beds National Monument, a beautiful small community including a new library. Lake George in Park County, offers a beautiful new Charter School and access to many miles of Pike National Forest and Gold Medal Fishing, Hunting, Hiking and Exploring. Woodland Park is the most populous city in Teller County, an easy 17 mile commute to Colorado Springs and 8465 feet above sea level. This city is surrounded by the one million acre Pike National Forest and often referred to as “The City Above the Clouds, often enjoying clear skies while weather in the neighboring towns may be rainy or overcast.
